‘What are you thankful for?’ CONTEST

With Thanksgiving fast approaching, our kids are talking about what they are thankful for.  It is always a subject this time of the year in their schools.  I look forward to seeing what they’ve created just prior to Thanksgiving showing exactly what they are thankful for.

At my 4-yr old’s pre-school, he made such a cute little picture with his quote “I am thankful for my new sneakers.”  They always make me chuckle.  But, at the same time, I want to make sure they realize how fortunate we really are.  We talk about how fortunate we are to have each other, a roof over our heads and we are not hungry like others may be.

I am thankful for my family.  They truly make me want to be a better person.  I try hard to be a good person every single day…for them.

With this in mind, I thought what better way to to kick off the upcoming Holidays than to start up a contest.  Just leave me a comment stating what you are thankful for and you will be entered to win a toddler size travel pillow.  You can also subscribe to our newsletter to enter.

Entries must be received by midnight EST Wednesday, November 26th.  A winner will be randomly chosen before Friday, November 28th at midnight EST.

We hope to hear from you!  And good luck.

I am so grateful for the opportunity to live on my own property in my own home! It’s been a long and hard 7 month for me, hubs and the kids we have all sacrificed for this and now that it is here I feel the tears of relief brewing!
My 5yr old daughter was given a pillow sham when she was a baby with her name on it. It’s smaller and this toddler pillow would be a perfect fit!

I am grateful for my health which has given my the ability to help others. I am the “supernanny” who is lucky enough to help families of children with special needs. It is a gift to help others with the unexpected challenges life can bring.

I am thankful to be able to get up each and every day and put both feet on the floor and to be able to head out the door to a wonderful job where I help high school students from all over the world. My day is not complete at 3:30 when I head home. I then head back out the door to help people to decorate their homes..so I am really blessed..I have the best of both worlds..many people have a job they dislike..I have two that I love and both of them enable me to help others….God bless you all

I’m thankful that God allowed my son to have medical issues. Throughout his surgies and ordeals I learned to rely on Him for everything. I learned patience beyond anyone’s understanding.

I am thankful for my family and extended family. It is the most comforting thing in the world to know that there is someone out there that will accept you for whomever you are no matter if you are up or down in life. I am especially thankful for the little wonders in my life Parker and Noah! These boys can lift you out of any duldrums you are in with just a look, a smile, and a auntie dont leave please play with me!

I am thankful that my daughter survived brain surgery. We were in the hospital for over four months including all the holidays last year. I am thankful that we are home now and able to celebrate the holidays this year in comfort with our family. Thankful that the struggles we face daily do not break us!

I am so thankful that we are able to pay our bills each month, and that I have such a wonderful family. We are all healthy and happy, and no matter what else happens, we have each other. Tough economic times remind us what is important. To me, that is God, family, health and home.

I am very thankful for my wonderful family and friends who tolerate me when I can hardly tolerate myself and still love me through it. I am thankful for the roof over our heads, my families health and the food that we dont have to go without. I am also very thankful for my church and my church family who always know what to say and how to help when I am in need and last but certainly not least, I am thankful for our lord.

I am thankful for my family, friends, health and all we have and share.

Most of all, I am thankful for my life. I almost lost it 6 years ago during childbirth. A skilled staff of doctors and very generous blood donors saved me (I needed 3 units of blood). Every Thanksgiving, I really reflect on my own life, and how my daughter’s life might have been very different.

So, I take this opportunity to say THANK YOU FOR LETTING ME STAY AROUND AND FOR EVERYTHING AND EVERYONE IN MY LIFE.
