Last year our first born came along on the 13th, so I'm thinking birthday-business may take over future Valentine's Days! I usually make a nice dinner and hubby brings a flowery plant home and sometimes writes a nice card. Once our son is a bit older I'd like to put some more effort into the day, though. When I was growing up, my mom always had a box of chocolates and a card at my and my siblings' "spot" at the breakfast table. That sounds like a good tradition to carry on! But, I think since the day falls on Saturday this year, we will make a date at home. We plan to tuck the kiddos in, pop in a movie, make some popcorn and see where the evening leads.
